Sony PDZ-1 Proxy browser en FAM driver

De Sony PDZ-1 Proxy browser software is een gratis tool van Sony waarmee proxy video van XDCAM camera's (geen XDCAM EX) kan worden ingeladen en gespot. Er kan een eenvoudige tijdlijn mee worden aangemaakt welke o.a. als EDL kan worden ge-exporteerd.

Tevens bevat de PDZ-1 download ook altijd de FAM driver welke nodig is om via Firewire aangesloten XDCAM apparatuur te kunnen gebruiken.
De software is alleen voor PC verkrijgbaar.

FAM 2.3.2 (Mac)

NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS:
This FAM software has been improved to support the new XDCAM Browser v1.3. Improvements are:
1) It is able to write/read the Planning Metadata file.
2) Resolve an issue that the clip list copy infrequently fails after deleting clip under FAM.
3) It can set Disc index picture when MXF play mode is 'Original'.
4) It accepts the Korean characters for clip name.

FAM v.2.30 (alleen drivers)

This FAM Drivers allows computers to interact with XDCAM Camcorders and Deck. FAM Driver v2.3 now has been updated to include support for 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Windows 7.

In total, the Windows FAM Driver v2.3 now supports the following Microsoft Operating Systems:

- 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista
